About Girls in ICT Day
This year marks the 10th Anniversary of the International Telecommunications Union (ITU) backed initiative titled “Girls in ICT Day”. Girls in ICT Day is celebrated annually on the fourth Thursday in April. This initiative seeks “to encourage girls and young women to consider studies and careers in information and communication technologies (ICT)”. TATT has commemorated Girls in ICT Day since 2012.
