Terms and Conditions
These awards are for initiatives undertaken by concessionaires for consumers in Trinidad and Tobago only.
These terms and conditions apply between the Telecommunications Authority of Trinidad and Tobago (“the Authority”) whose registered address is No. 5, 8th Avenue Ext, off 12th Street, Barataria and any person, firm, company or other entity specified on the entry form (“Entrant”). Submitting an entry automatically registers two representatives from your organisation to attend the Telecommunications and Broadcasting Industry Awards Ceremony (“Event”).
By submitting your registration to attend the Event you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions. Substitutions of representatives from your organisation selected to attend the Event are welcome but notification of change of the attendees should be provided to the Authority no later than 3 days before the scheduled date of the Event.
The Authority may at its sole discretion change the format, speakers, participants, content, venue location and programme or any other aspect of the Event at any time and for any reason, including a force majeure event, or cancel the Event, in each case without liability.
Where the Authority changes the date or cancels the Event for any reason except due to a force majeure event, the Authority shall offer the attendees the option of attending any rescheduled Event that the Authority chooses to organise.
Where a force majeure event has or may have (in the Authority’s sole discretion) an adverse impact on: (i) the ability of the Authority to hold the Event at the planned venue or on the planned date; or (ii) the Event generally, then the Authority shall be entitled but not obliged (in its sole discretion) to either provide alternative facilities or venue for the Event; and/or reschedule the Event. To the fullest extent permitted by the applicable law, the Authority shall not be liable to you for any loss, delay, damage or other liability incurred resulting from or arising in connection with the venue change or the cancellation or date change of the Event, howsoever arising.
All unauthorised photography and the recording or transmitting of audio or visual material, data or information is expressly prohibited by the attendees of the Event. By your agreement with these terms and conditions, you consent to the Authority’s filming, sound recording and photography at and of the Event and you consent to the use by the Authority of any such recording or photography anywhere in the world for promotional, marketing and other purposes as the Authority deems appropriate.
The information in your entry provided to the Authority with respect to the Event will be held by the Authority on a database and shall not be used or disseminated by the Authority for any purposes other than those stated above.
To the fullest extent permitted by the applicable law, the Authority is not liable for:
   a) any loss, injury or damage to persons or property at the Event;
   b) any actual or alleged indirect loss or consequential loss, howsoever arising, suffered by you, or any loss of profits,
        anticipated profits, savings, loss of business revenue, loss of business, loss of opportunity, loss of goodwill,
        or any other type of economic loss (whether direct or indirect).
If by reason of any force majeure event, the Authority is delayed in or prevented from performing any of its obligations with respect to the Event, such delay or non-performance shall not be deemed to be a breach of these terms and conditions and no loss or damage shall be claimed by you by reason thereof.
The Authority reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions from time to time. However, you will be subject to the terms and conditions in force at the time of the submission of your entry.
