To protect our stakeholders from the possible spread of the coronavirus (COVID-19) the Telecommunications Authority of Trinidad and Tobago (the Authority) has implemented the following processes for persons who wish to use our Consumer Complaint, Broadcasting Content Complaint, Equipment Certification Application, Licence Application and Concession Application services.
These processes are for persons wishing to access TATT’s services online. This serves to minimize the need for persons to visit our offices.
Lodging a Consumer Complaint
1) Call toll-free 800-TATT (800-8288)
2) Send an email to info@tatt.org.tt or
3) Download a complaint form from the Consumer Complaints page on the Authority’s website. Complete, sign and submit form with copies of relevant documents, via fax (674-1005), post or email info@tatt.org.tt.
Lodging a Broadcasting Content Complaint
1) Call toll-free 800-TATT (800-8288).
2) Send an email to info@tatt.org.tt or
3) Download a complaint form from the Broadcast Content Complaints page on the Authority’s website. Complete, sign and submit form, via fax (674-1005), post or email info@tatt.org.tt.
Applying for a Licence
1) Visit the Apply for a Licence page on the Authority’s website and download the Radiocommunications Licence Application (L1) form and appropriate Technical Specifications (TS) form(s).
NOTE: The Amateur Radio Licence Application (L2) form shall be used for a person wishing to apply for an Amateur Licence.
2) Please complete the form(s), scan or obtain a softcopy of the required attachments, and email all to info@tatt.org.tt.
NOTE: signing of the application form(s) will not be required for submission.
3) Upon receipt of the application, TATT will contact you regarding the appropriate application fee, online or other payment options, any other required information and instructions for collection/delivery of the licence.
Equipment Certification
APPPLY EARLY!
Get your Radio Product/Equipment Certified Before it Reaches a Port of Entry!
To apply for an equipment certificate for radiocommunication (radio) equipment to be used in Trinidad and Tobago, visit the Equipment Standardization and Certification page on the Authority’s website and download the Equipment Certification Application Form.
1) Complete the form(s), scan or obtain a softcopy of the required attachments, and email all to info@tatt.org.tt.
NOTE: Signing of the application form(s) will not be required for submission.
NOTE: Certification of radio equipment already held in Customs or at a port of entry must be explicitly stated in the email to the Authority, if applicable.
The Authority will respond to the emailed application with instructions for collection/delivery of the equipment certificate.
Any queries related to obtaining an equipment certificate/certifying radio equipment can be emailed to equipmentcertification@tatt.org.tt. .
Applying for a Concession
1) Visit the Forms page on the Authority’s website and download the appropriate form. Complete and sign the form with relevant attachments and submit via info@tatt.org.tt.
2) Upon receipt of the application, TATT will contact you regarding the appropriate application fee, online or other payment options, any other required information and instructions for collection/delivery of the licence.
