World Telecommunication & Information Society Day

The International Telecommunications Union (ITU) encourages its member states to celebrate WTISD, which is aimed at raising awareness of the possibilities that the use of the Internet and other information and communication technologies (ICT) can bring to societies and economies, and bridge the digital divide.
