The Authority is pleased to publish the Authorisation Framework for the Accommodation of White Space Radiocommunications Devices (November, 2017), along with the Annex II – Decisions on Recommendations Matrix for Second Consultation Round.

In accordance with the Class Licensing Regime, the technical and operating limits for white space devices (WSDs) have been included in the Schedule of Devices Eligible for Use under a Class Licence.

Persons seeking to use WSDs shall apply for equipment certification to the Authority, via the submission of a completed Equipment Certification Application Form.

Additionally, persons seeking to provide geolocation database services can request approval by the Authority via the submission of a formal correspondence to this effect.
